Since my childhood, I loved to
explore new places and different destinations which are also unexplored and my
main intention is to encourage and motivate other
travelers to discover interesting and unknown places around Himachal Pradesh.

- Kais
Dhar, Kullu: The Kullu Valley is one of the foremost picturesque places within the Himalayan region of Himachal Pradesh. All
you would like is 2 days to explore this magnificent landscape and get

energizing journey, which not only unveils the stunning terrain of the
Himalayas but also gives you an opportunity to find out about the interesting
culture of the people living here. You will visit many villages, and

breathtaking peaks in the background. We begin this Unexplored Kaisdhar Trek from
Kullu, which is among the most famous hill stations in Himachal Pradesh.
From here, you will be taken to the hamlet of other villages to begin your
foot journey. The 7-km trail from here provides you with ample
opportunities to explore the natural bounties of the region. On the way,
you will find numerous charming trails that will convince you with their
allure to take a picture.

Churdhar,
Sirmaur: The
Churdhar peak is in Sirmaur and is one of the highest Peaks
of the Shivalik ranges at a height of 11965 feet. Churdhar, commonly known as
Churichandni (Bangle
of Snow), is blessed
with some of the most spectacular and beautiful landscapes in this region. The
view from the summit embraces a vast panorama of lowland tracts towards the
south and snow-capped ranges, including the peaks of Badrinath and Kedarnath in
the Garhwal region, towards the north. A wealth of herbs and beautiful alpine
flora cover these Himalayan slopes. Trekkers tread over small glaciers on their
way to the wind-blown Churdhar summit, which has moderate to heavy snowfall
(average of 33 feet of snow). Often the Srigul temple gets buried under it. A
view of the rainbow emerging on the horizon after the rain is a memorable
sight. The multi-colored rays streaming out of the cloud cover make the sky
look like a huge chandelier.
- Thanedar,
Shimla: Thanedar is a beautiful
village situated in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh at a height of around 8,000
feet and it takes around 3 hrs to drive from Shimla. The place is slightly
higher than Shimla and the road linking the two runs almost near the crest
of the mountain with a gradual ascent. Thanedar Village is an
offbeat and unexplored travel destination in the valleys of Himachal Pradesh. The state is a
traveler’s delight and is covered with lush greenery and trees all around.
If you’re into camping and mountains you’re going to love this place.
- Janjehli, Mandi: Janjheli is a beautiful
place but unknown to travelers and it remains unexplored round the year
which makes an untouched environment. You can explore this hidden paradise
where you can just chill out with the lush green nature. You will visit
plenty of villages, and there will be infinite opportunities for you to
click pictures with the breathtaking peaks in the background. This place
is an ideal place for Trekking and Camping with a trail up to 3300 m in height.
Janjheli is around 67 km from Mandi
town.
- Gushaini,
Kullu: Gushaini
is a small village located in Tirthan Valley, Himachal Pradesh. It is
prettily located on the banks of the gushing Tirthan River. The village
has a happy vibe with rustic wooden buildings. Gushaini is the gateway for
treks in Tirthan Valley and is around 10 km away from Banjar. The village
is just 10 km before the entrance to the Great Himalayan National Park and
is the best place to stay for most enthusiasts heading to the Park. There
are peach, pomegranate, apple, pear, and apricot orchards in and around
Gushaini. A secret waterfall near Gahidar awaits travelers in
Gushaini. The Gushaini Village is a place from where one
can start the trekking routes to the nearby villages of Chalogi and Mungla
and simply have a leisure day interacting with the friendly villagers.
- Barot Valley,
Mandi: Barot is a beautiful
village located in the valleys of Mandi district in the north Indian state
of Himachal Pradesh. It is an unexplored destination and is located around
67 km from Mandi town. If you’re into mountains and don’t like crowded
places this is a perfect place to explore. The mesmerizing mountains and
the fresh air draws from across the world for sightseeing and much more.
The village is getting famous for its numerous trekking trails. Very few
people know about Barot valley and its unexplored landscapes. The village
of Barot came into the limelight when the Shanan Hydroelectric Project was
proposed around 1920 in India. It was mainly to utilize the hydroelectric
potential of River Uhl that gushes between Barot and Jogindernagar. It is
since then that the village has also been considered a tourist
destination, but not many know about this place. Anybody visiting Barot will
surely be awestruck by its scenic beauty. This village, although small in
size, has a wealth of beauty stored. The forests around the village are
mostly Deodar and Oak that grow in the region.
Although
all places in Himachal Pradesh are beautiful, some places are still unexplored
and untouristic. These all places are located in different parts of Himachal
and you can reach there via any mode of transportation. Expense is reasonable at
these places as they are yet unexplored and near to nature. All of the above mentioned
places are at different locations and serves different food and culture. People
are down-to-earth and very humble. They’ll welcome you with an open heart and
you will enjoy every moment and create memories.
